Our Sinter HIP furnace operates in atmospheres like Ar and N2 up to 150bar. Optional cycles can be used under hydrogen for reducing sinter material. We can also sinter using a vacuum atmosphere.
Typical usage is post sintering for cemented carbide (hard metals), sintering of Si3N4 (Silicon Nitride), or synthesis of new materials.
Typical parameters of this furnace:
|Heating rate||5 - 20 K/min|
|Cooling rate||10 K/min|
|Max. temperature||2200 °C|
|Gas pressure||100 bar|
|Atmospheres||Vac, Ar, N2, H2|
|Typical cycle||> 10 hr|
