Rapid Hot Pressing
is a pressure assisted sintering technique allowing the consolidation of high performance materials such as special alloys, ceramics as well as metal or ceramic matrix composites up to a temperature of 2.400°C. This is possible in overall cycle times of less than one hour and therefore very economic.

RHP-Technology runs one of the recently 14 research studios established by the Austrian Forschungsförderungs-gesellschaft FFG. The main focus of this research studio “rapid hot pressing” is the assessment and systematic analysis of this innovative technique for the consolidation of advanced materials.
Within the research studio the three different pressure assisted consolidation techniques will be compared:
The research studio "rapid hot pressing" is supported by the FFG and is carried out in co-operation with
the company Dr. Fritsch.
